NAFIS gives top priority to the Quran memorization project. The goal is very clear: meeting our Lord in the Hereafter with the entire Quran being committed to our memory. Or at least start the project with a sincere intention and unshakable commitment to complete it, so that if one meets their Lord before completing the project, they will, God willing, still earn the full reward and high status.

NAFIS has a built-in system to motivate, support, help, and guide through a facilitative gradual process anyone interested in the memorization of the entire Quran.

Numerous hadiths show the very high status in God’s estimation of the one who memorized the Quran, including:

Narrated by Abdullah Ibn Amr, may God be pleased with him, that Prophet Muhammad‎, may God bless him and grant him peace,‎ ‎said, “It shall be said to the one who memorized the Qu’ran: read and ascend, and recite like you used to recite in the worldly life. Indeed your rank is up according to the last verse you recite.” (At-Tirmidhi)

Narrated by Ibn ‘Abbas, may God be pleased with him, that Prophet Muhammad‎, may God bless him and grant him peace,‎ ‎said, “Verily, he who does not memorize any part from the Qur’an he is like the ruined house.” (At-Tirmidhi)

Narrated by Abu Hurayra, may God be pleased with him, that Prophet Muhammad‎, may God bless him and grant him peace,‎ ‎said, “Qur’an shall come on the Day of Judgment and says: O Lord! Decorate him [the one who memorized the Qur’an]. So he is donned with a crown of nobility. Then it says: O Lord! Give him more! So he is donned with a suit of nobility. Then it says: O Lord! Be pleased with him. So He is pleased with him. Then it shall be said to him: Recite and rise up, and be increased in reward with every verse.” (At-Tirmidhi)

Narrated by Sālim’s father, may God be pleased with them, that Prophet Muhammad‎, may God bless him and grant him peace,‎ ‎said, “There shall be no envy except for two: A man to whom God grants wealth and he spends from it during the night and during the day. And a man to whom God grants (the memorization of) the Quran so he stands up with it in prayer during the night and the day.” (At-Tirmidhi)
